Rex Lafferty is the older brother of Ian.
Ms. Tasty is a character in the story that Ian is supposed to be meeting. She is the manifestation of Ian’s goal that he is working towards. It is evident that as he gets closer to meeting Ms. Tasty he starts to understand that sometimes the destination is not as important as the journey in between.
Ezekiel is one of the minor characters in the book that the travelers encounter. He is a repair man who pleasantly surprising offers his unique insight along with some of his witty humor. These moments in the documentary provide some hilarious and insightful elements that inspire the travelers to move forward.
