Synopsis

The tale narrated in The Silent Hour is that of a Boston police officer, Frank Shaw, who is forced to return to limited duty after an injury in an action-packed op due to which he suffers irreparable loss of hearing. Struggling to cope with his changed circumstances, he is assigned to help in a sensitive case involving a young, courageous def ault who is the only witness to the crime of violence committed.
